Looks great & easy to setup : OmniMount Tria 3 Shelf Wall System, Black

For ~$90, this shelf system is worth it.

No question setting this up. The instructions aren't very detailed, but assembling the shelves was fairly intuitive, so this isn't too much of an issue.

Visually, the shelves are aesthetically pleasing (in plain english, they look real nice). The pictures don't do this goods justice. You can move the three shelves to various brackets on the main mount.

The one drawback is the cable administration system. If you plan on running more than two Hdmi cables under the plastic covers, take note: thought about tie two cables in a bundle on either side of the cover/center frame (i.e. Two cables tied in a bundle on the left side of the mount, two cables tied in a bundle on the right). Otherwise, the plastic covers will pinch the cables when you try to snap the cover in place.

ultimately a Comfortable Chair for a Very Bad Back! : Boss Black LeatherPlus Executive Chair

I received my chair today, assembled it and tested it out. My immediate comments are the following:

1. Cosmetics: Very nice looking chair. Does look like a chair costing more.

2. The leather Plus is just that, a cross in the middle of leather and vinyl, although it does look like Nappa leather, but the feel is not quite the same.

3. Function: This chair Does Recline. Past reviews said it did not. Those people need to pull out the lever that operates the height (air cylinder). This will unlock and the chair can recline about 25 degrees or so. Enough for most people and acceptable for most chairs.

4. Comfort: The chair is very comfortable with Enough padding in the seat and the back. Also has lumbar hold which I like. I could sit in this chair for hours. As a professor I work from home quite a bit, so we will see how the back feels.

5. Chair Height: many reviewers mention the chair height as an issue for positive height people. This chair does sit high. I have it on the bottom setting to sit at my desk which is acceptable height. On the top setting I can not use it, it is too high for my legs to fit under the desk. I am 6 feet and the bottom setting is fine for me, but if you are under 5' 6" it may be a problem.

6. Quality- Remains to be seen. But since it does not look cheap, and all plastic parts are made from a hard structural plastic, I guess the durability of the chair will last as long as my last one, 12 years, maybe. I'll modernize this in a few months.

Bottom Line: Go for it! Good chair for the money. However, if you are shorter than 5' 6" this chair may not be for you.


Update: 6/10/2011

I now have had this chair for about six months. It is as good as it was when I bought it. I use it everyday and it is a delight to sit in it. The only thing it does do, however, is squeak! Just a dinky Wd40 solves the problem.

Broke : South Shore Furniture Step One Collection Queen Platform Bed, Chocolate

Same story as the first someone that wrote a review. A part of my moulding was broken when the bed arrived. Amazon is replacing the bed. But i lost a lot of time setting the bed up before i noticed the broken piece. Lost time tearing it down and packing it up. And i have to wait an additional one week until the new frame comes. Im not too happy. But.. I had the bed set up all except for the moulding. It looks nice. The bed should be placed against a wall on the back side because there is one part of the wood not laminated (just the back panel). Other than that it seems fairly sturdy and I think that if the change comes undamaged it will do the trick.

What you would come to expect from particle board. : South Shore Furniture Basic Collection Full Platform Bed, Black

I received this product yesterday (one day early). The packaging was smaller than I expected, but admittedly heavy. I had to open the box downstairs and take any peices at a time to the bedroom since I am not very strong and I built it alone.

Instructions are very simplified, it took me about an hour to put together. product seems stirty and looks admittedly nice, I am happy with this buy.
